Iwema: “Onze klanten willen een mooie steen, zeldzaam en uniek, volledig passend bij wie ze zijn en wat ze zoeken. Ze willen weten waar een steen vandaan komt. We kijken verder dan de gemiddelde juwelier. Ons netwerk is heel groot en we zoeken graag naar de prachtigste exemplaren. We vinden het belangrijk dat het juweel past bij de persoon, dat de klant er nu heel blij mee is en in de toekomst nog steeds.” E x c l u s i e v e c o u t u r e - s f e e r Bonebakker presenteert diverse high-end collecties in de stijlvolle salon in het Conservatorium Hotel. Zowel eigen collecties als collecties van gerenommeerde juwelenhuizen die nergens anders in Nederland te vinden zijn en unieke stukken met bijzondere stenen en diamanten. De huidige locatie deed eerder dienst als voormalig directeurskamer van de Rijkspostspaarbank. De intieme salon met de houten lambrisering en art nouveau-tegels ademt de sfeer van creativiteit, exclusiviteit en couture. Tegelijkertijd is het een oase van rust. In deze ambiance ontvangen Iwema en haar deskundige team hun klanten en gaan ze het gesprek aan. Naast de prachtig gepresenteerde collecties voor rechtstreekse verkoop, creëert Bonebakker veel bespoke juwelen. Dat kunnen zegelringen, verlovingsringen of trouwringen zijn, maar ook juwelen voor verjaardagen en afstuderen, ter ere van een baby, ter herinnering aan iemand na een overlijden of exclusieve souvenirs voor hotelgasten, vips et cetera. Iwema: “De sleutel van Amsterdam hebben we gedeeltelijk of geheel in impressive reputation that extends far beyond the Dutch borders. Many clients find their way here through word of mouth or already own a Bonebakker piece and want to expand their collection. Bonebakker not only caters to Dutch clients and tourists, modern technology has allowed them to expand their reach to include international clients from Spain, the United States and the Arabian Peninsula. The original founder, Adrianus Bonebakker, forged swords for the Dutch princes and was commissioned to create a new crown for King William II in 1840. This crown is still worn to this day on special occasions, most recently during the inauguration of King Willem-Alexander. This special link to the capital is reflected in the Bridges of Amsterdam collection, designed in 2017 for the 225th anniversary, and in the Key of Amsterdam collection, which was inspired by the city key created in 1806 for Napoleon. This unique and rich heritage continues to this day. A b e s p o k e p i e c e Nearly ten years ago, Bonebakker Juwelier relocated from the Rokin to the Conservatorium Hotel on Van Baerlestraat, in the heart of the Museum Quarter. There, Iwema continues the iconic history of the Bonebakker jewellery empire by combining her love of jewellery and design with a passion for finding the perfect stone for each client. Iwema graduated from the Design Academy in Eindhoven.
